North Potomac Green
North Potomac Green was developed by the William J. Pulte Company, a large development company which has numerous subdivisions in Detroit, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Colorado Springs, Cleveland, Denver, Baltimore, Harrisburg, P.A., and Puerto Rico. The subdivision is composed of 206 lots and several acres of private park land. A stream, part of the headwaters of the Rouge River, flows through both segments of the park. Construction of homes commenced in 1969 beginning on Old Dominion Drive at the main entrance. The subdivision was completed in early 1974 when the last of the 206 homes were occupied.
